Garden Design
A project to transform an apartment garden into a work of art with garden furniture and products that incorporate the local biodiversity using biomimicry. It aims to solve problems with the garden that have been ongoing for many years.
Lets start with the Story…
You cant get a better view of Italy’s Lake Garda than at the top of the Gardone Riviera region. It overlooks the large rock formation, Rocca Minerba, the famous Sirminone tourist destination and the largest island in the lake; Isola del Garda. Back in 2003 my family bought the apartment purely for the stunning view and future plans of one day living her on a permanent basis.
So why have a focus on biomimicry and nature?
The current holiday apartment is located in amongst the diverse flora and fauna wildlife. Home to many Olive trees, Cicadas, flowers and more it there is no question that you’ll find some new wildlife you haven’t been before. A huge inspiration for this project has been my mother with her passion for nature and therefor this project contains various pieces of furniture and products that reflect the local and biodiverse nature that is the wonderful Lake Garda
Based on the surroundings, the apartments designs focus on nature and contain innovative furniture designs
