Mosquito Spray
Being plagued by mosquitos over the summer months with their painful, irritating and dangerous bites I was urged to design a simple portable device to deter them away from human company. Unlike most current products my design is more aesthetically pleasing and gives a more pleasant aroma.

Mosquitos - Products Associated with them really are not that pleasurable are they?
It needs an organic form that looks more pleasurable on let’s say…. a table?
The Process

Research determined that lavendar was the most effective repellent for mosquitos. Reasons are seen here
Using the lavendar shape, several concepts were drawn
How the mosquito spray functions. A model of the spray was also produced to show how it would look during its usage
Electronics needed for the spray. A pressure equation was used for the piston to determine the amount of force needed to force the spray out
