Food Delivery for Kids

The aim of this project was to create a website for mobile and web based screens that delivers food for kids 12 - 16 years old for when parents work late. The app aims to allow kids to customise their own meals based on a series of food types ie pasta, chicken, vegetables etc. It aims to reduce children choosing too unhealthy meals and understand the importance of meal planning

Location

United states, Upper East Side Manhattan – these are where most families in New York are located and where restaurant will be located too. It is close to central Manhattan so deliveries can easily be delivered to many kids.

Cost

All meals will be affordable to ensure kids are well fed without parents needing to worry about kids ordering meals worth lots of money. Also teaches kids about making affordable choices in the future.

User Needs

The website needs to enable the user to:

Find out if the restaurant delivers to their area
Order food online that arrives quickly to their door
Being able to order a meal easily at is might be their first time ordering
Customize an order based on their likes/dislikes in food choice
Have tasty food that keeps them full for a long period of time
Offer an app since users of this low age demographic tend to use mobile phones
Check if restaurant is open
Become more familiar in ordering food (for less experienced users)
